Learning 2-Move Tool

Now, I'm going to learn about the move tool.
1. I open a file and rename it as Learning 2-Move Tool.

2. Go to the "File" panel, click it and go down to "Place".
There I can open any pictures or images I want to use.

3. I choose a cartoon picture for this one. Click on the image and click the "Place" button.

4. Then, I have the image. Go to the "Move" Tool at the left hand side panel and click it.

5. Click on the image and move it to anywhere you want. In this screen, you can see I move the image to the upper right.

Finished. The basics about move tool.

Learning photoshop

This week we need to start on a blog on our learning process using Photoshop and also decide on our e-wallpaper. I'm not so good at Photoshop and blogging so, I decided to ask my sister since she has a blog of her own. Unfortunately, she said there is some changes in the new one compared to the old one which she is using. Anyway, I also asked my friends first on Photoshop. Later on, I go on Youtube and also Adobe TV to find more about the basics on Photoshop.

These are some of the links of the videos on Photoshop that I am watching from the same creator in Youtube and it is the very basic i guess but there are only 9 lessons one of them seems to be missing (since I do not know about Photoshop it's good to get started with this).

I watch it on youtube because it's faster this way.

This is on Adobe TV. The loading is slower compared to Youtube. I don't know why.

Still I'm doing my best to learn.

Assignment 1: e-wallpaper

I planned to do a wallpaper on Chinese New Year festival. I know it is a common festival but since I am not so good at Photoshop, this 'could' be a good choice for a beginner like me. Well, I did some research and listed out a few criterias that i can put into my wallpaper.

My little research about Chinese New Year.

The items I wanted to place in the wallpaper:-
1) Red (majority) and Gold
2) 12 animals symbols (zodiac).
3) Delicacies, Family gatherings, Fire crackers, Ang  Pow, Mandarin orange.
4) Calendar
5) Dragon/Lion dance, Drums & gongs.

Lion Dance

Chinese zodiac

"Ang Pow" (Red Packet)
Fire Cracker
The main theme is red which it symbolizes happiness and prosperity. I am still not sure the type of images I want to use whether animation or real type but I'll find it as soon as possible.
